I actually don't think established users shilling their product, website, insta, etc would be an issue. I'd be okay if you made this market, verbatim. I trust a real user more to actually make interesting and compelling market while trying to sell something. I think if Manifold started to have a creator economy that would be good!
but we have we have to be more harsh on the new users. something like 30% of new user accounts are spammers that are just trying to boost SEO. And this category of content is consistently low quality, perhaps even dangerously scammy. It would be fine if they stuck to a single account that made real questions that people wanted to bet on.
(just my own opinions. I think the founders and David have harsher opinions about people trying to sell stuff on here)
