The UK has just decomissioned HMS Montrose. Both she and HMS Monmouth are now 'awaiting disposal'. The UK has already transferred two Sandown class minehunters, Grimsby and Shoreham (now Chernihiv and Cherkasy), but the Type 23 frigates are much larger and more powerful ships.
