Resolves to all that are true. I will add more as the season progresses.

I may bet unless something appears or becomes subjective, in which case I will not bet. If something unexpectedly becomes subjective after I've already established a position I will outsource resolution if necessary.

I don't promise to watch so religiously that I don't miss any of these, so bettors should proactively seek resolutions, but I do promise to go back and check time stamps if provided.

I will close this set of questions the day before the finale is broadcast on Nebula, and will not resolve until it has been shown on YouTube. Obviously information will have been transferred in many markets before then, so participate at your own risk of spoilers.

Likewise individual markets will resolve after relevant evidence is on YouTube.

In general, events must appear on screen to count. If footage or audio is lost but the episode still confirms it took place and mattered that would count, but referring to something happening in a way that makes it clear not showing it was an editorial choice would not count.

In this context, physical location or mode of transport always matters.

Things we see or here during the 'outro' where the producers talk directly to camera in a studio setting do not count, unless specified.

Likewise anything shown in an outtakes episode.

England =/= the UK

**Or a recognisable variant of it

***I will rule

  • Update 2025-12-17 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - For the option "The season has more than 5 days of real-time game time", it resolves YES if there is a Day 6.

  • Update 2025-12-19 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For the option "The seekers hit a time trap": A time trap is a feature in the expansion that can be placed on a station. It accumulates time which is added to the hider's total if and when the seekers hit it.

@JoshuaWilkes I just can't shake the memory that Ben did a British accent at some point that bore a passing resemblance to cockney

@JoshuaWilkes I think he tried to do a scottish accent in one of the final episodes “oi mate you want some ganj” but it came out kinda cockney? Was that what you were thinking of?

@JayDH will look it up

@JoshuaWilkes you were right!

I am ruling that this doesn't count

@JoshuaWilkes Hahah, I remembered because I was remembering thinking I should sell my NO at the time, but I genuinely couldn’t work out which way it would resolve so clearly decided not to. I guess the fact it happened in Scotland does make NO the more reasonable resolve.

Thanks for the fun market now it’s all wrapped up :)

@JayDH as it was the final episode the market would have been closed anyway 😉

There's a few that I need to check and I won't do that until some free time next week. Anyone who thinks that any are obvious feel free to provide evidence!

@JoshuaWilkes I am rewatching the last episode now 😆

@JoshuaWilkes do any bettors have a time stamp?

@JoshuaWilkes I’m certain one came up earlier in the season as they’re literally everywhere, but I noticed one yesterday in E6, about 17 mins in.

@JoshuaWilkes do any bettors have a time stamp?

@JoshuaWilkes I don't think it happened this time!

@Kraalnaxx what do you think?

@JoshuaWilkes At 55:04 on Episode 1 on Youtube, Adam says "we need to lock in," I believe in reference to himself. At 0:41 on Episode 4, Ben says "Sam and Adam, you guys better lock in." Straightforward YES resolution I think.

@JoshuaWilkes There's one more episode, market should be open for six more days according to description.

I invite participants to try to work out, as I will at the end of the season, whether any of the athletes pass through Birmingham even if they don't stop.

@JoshuaWilkes This map (ep. 4, 45:05) shows Sam and Adam's route from Rugby to Manchester passing through Birmingham. This is why I bought Yes, but I didn't go all in because I'm not sure if the motion are always correct

@archvenison maybe buy quite a lot more 😄 that looks conclusive

@JoshuaWilkes Not to be the bearer of bad news, but quite a few maps have been wrong this season with the train routes taken, and when I first saw this I was 99% sure this was one of them - Avanti trains from Rugby to Manchester don’t stop at Birmingham, and travel around the city via Nuneaton, Tamworth, Lichfield (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avanti_West_Coast#/media/File%3AAvantiRouteJune24.jpg)

@JayDH will take a good look at it

@JoshuaWilkes A nerd on reddit has compiled all the trains they took, which might make your job a little easier for the places questions ☺️ if you search the head code into the realtime trains website you should be able to see where the train normally stops (the links won’t work as they’re too old) https://www.reddit.com/r/JetLagTheGame/comments/1qvs6nv/i_traced_every_train_the_crew_took_in_s16/

@JayDH thank you! Am travelling myself this week so will do it next week

@JoshuaWilkes Resolves YES

@JoshuaWilkes Resolves YES

@JoshuaWilkes I assume that if an athlete is on a train that passes through a city X, then "athlete goes to X" resolves yes, since you say location always matters. Is this right?
