On my upcoming survey, I will ask, "If you live in the U.S., what party do you vote for the most often?" This will resolve to the number who say they vote for Democrats divided by the number who say they vote for Republicans. If the ratio falls exactly on the boundary between two bins, it will resolve equally to both bins.

@evergreenemily I was planning to include an options for "I usually vote for an independent or third-party candidate." The number of people who choose that option won't have an influence on this market, though.
