On my Manifold survey, I ask about two variants of the trolley problem, one in which the respondent has to directly sacrifice someone else's life to save the workers (the fat man variant), and one in which they have to sacrifice themselves in the same way (the self-sacrifice variant). Will I get a larger proportion of "Jump" responses to the self-sacrifice variant (indicating that the respondent would sacrifice themselves) than I do "Push" responses to the fat man variant (indicating that they would sacrifice the fat man)?
