I am a 34 year old software engineer, have worked Boeing -> Microsoft -> Amazon, and am financially comfortable for the moderate-term. Currently undecided when I will try to return to gainful employment, but it would very likely be in the tech sector.
I moved out of Seattle (where I have lived for 8 years) on 8/9/25 with a plan to drive my Tesla solo through all 48 states, spending 2-9 days in each, camping at state parks, airBnBs in cities. My trip officially started on April 18, but I only decided to be a full nomad in August. I finished this trip in May of 2026, and liked it enough to take my journey abroad.

I ended up going to Edinburgh instead of Stockholm for a conflict with a Weeknd concert that drove prices through the roof during the time I would have been there.
