Well, if our ears were to disappear, we wouldn't be deaf, just hard of hearing. A cochlear implant for everyone will be sufficient to restore any lost hearing ability, but might not even be necessary.

I'm pretty sure society would survive even if we all became deaf, so this is an easy yes.
