Resolves YES if: The lowest price for a qualifying 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5 kit is ≥ $500.00 USD as of the final December 2026 update of Tom’s Hardware’s “RAM price tracking” index (their daily-updated lowest-price page).

Terms:

Primary source: Tom’s Hardware RAM price index, 32GB DDR5 category, last update published on or before Dec 31, 2026.

Qualifying kit: new, standalone, in-stock at a major US retailer, any speed/CAS. Excludes: bundles (CPU/mobo combos), open-box/used, marketplace third-party sellers, and prices requiring rebates or coupons codes.

Fallback if Tom’s discontinues the tracker: lowest in-stock price on PCPartPicker (US) for a new 2×16GB DDR5 kit sold directly by Amazon, Newegg, B&H, or Best Buy, checked Dec 31.

A single flash sale on the resolution date counts if it meets the criteria above — traders should price that risk in.
