Resolution criteria

This market resolves to the NFL team that is the last to suffer a loss during the 2026 NFL regular season (scheduled to run from September 2026 to January 2027). Preseason and postseason games do not count.

  • Definition of a loss: In accordance with NFL rules, a tie does not count as a loss. A team remains eligible as long as they have 0 losses on their regular-season record.

  • Timing and Tie-breakers: If the final remaining undefeated teams suffer their first loss in the same NFL week, the winner is determined by real-time progression:

    1. If the losses occur on different calendar days, the team that loses on the later calendar day wins.

    2. If the losses occur on the same calendar day, the team whose game concludes later in real-time (Eastern Time) wins.

    3. If games conclude at the exact same time, or if multiple teams finish the regular season completely undefeated, the market will resolve proportionally (split) among those teams.

  • Source of Truth: Official game schedules, results, and standings published on NFL.com or ESPN.com.

Background

The 2026 NFL schedule was officially released in May 2026. Following the release, analysts began projecting which team would survive the longest without a defeat. For instance, ESPN's Field Yates predicted the Baltimore Ravens would be the last undefeated team due to an early-season schedule that avoids 2025 playoff teams until November.

As this market is set to allow anyone to add answers, any of the 32 NFL teams can be added to the selection if they are not already listed.
