Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if the first-round 2026 NHL playoff series between the Ottawa Senators and the Carolina Hurricanes consists of 6 or 7 games. It resolves to NO if the series ends in 4 or 5 games.

The series length is determined by the official box scores and series summary published on the National Hockey League's official website: https://www.nhl.com/standings/playoffs.

Background

The 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are scheduled to begin in April 2026. The first round is a best-of-seven series, meaning the first team to win four games advances. A series lasts more than 5 games if it requires a 6th or 7th game to determine a winner.

At time of market creation, Carolina currently leads 2-0 in games won. Will resolve YES if at any point in the series Ottawa wins 2 games, otherwise will resolve NO when series ends.
