This market will resolve to the individual officially announced as the permanent Head Coach of the Florida Gators Football team. Interim head coaches, such as Billy Gonzales, will not resolve this market. The primary source for resolution will be an official announcement made by the University of Florida Athletic Association on their official athletics website, FloridaGators.com, or other reputable news sources.

Background

Billy Napier was dismissed as the head coach of the Florida Gators Football team on Sunday, October 19, 2025, following a 3-4 start to the 2025 season. His tenure concluded with an overall record of 22-23. Wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales has been named the interim head coach. This marks the fourth consecutive head coach fired by the University of Florida since the Urban Meyer era, with none of them lasting more than four seasons. Athletic Director Scott Stricklin stated that a confidential search for an elite permanent head coach is underway.
