There's a comic book called Y: The Last Man that I think is great. It has a sort of similar tone to the novel Station 11. It's post apocalyptic. I am specifically referring to the comic book, not the TV show.

if you enjoy the series, you'd probably enjoy the book, and personally I'm also a huge fan of "Glass Hotel", the author's follow-up. it's not really sci-fi, and it's a bit hard to pitch, but it's one of my favorite recent books

I read the book and really liked it. I think at its heart, it’s a classic survivor story. Whether it’s Castaway, the Martian, or Lord of the Flies, people love to see what happens when modern luxuries are stripped away. It’s exciting to watch humans use their ingenuity to overcome the odds (or fail and fall into chaos).

I wasn’t so impressed by Sea of Tranquility, it was a bit too wishy washy for me. I like sci-fi that’s as grounded in reality as possible.

“Station Eleven" is a fantastic series that blends elements of both post-apocalyptic fiction and science fiction. While it doesn't focus heavily on futuristic technology or space exploration, common features of traditional sci-fi, it does explore themes of survival, human resilience, and the impact of a global pandemic on civilization. Its compelling storytelling and deep character development resonate well with audiences, making it a standout in both the sci-fi and drama genres. The podcast complements the series well, enhancing the immersive experience with its thoughtful exploration of the show's themes and behind-the-scenes insights.
