Definitely saw it through the camera, to the naked eye it wasn't as brilliant but sky was definitely a different color

@JeanJacquesRousseau where did you finally go to see it?

Spaceweather.com has some examples of auroras being seen from Florida and Arizona last night

There's still good chances tonight and tomorrow night, take a camera and use a long exposure. sometimes the light is there but our eyes aren't as sensitive and can't pick it up. Good luck!
