Resolves when D.B. Cooper is definitively identified and it is determined whether he survived the jump and the immediate aftermath
My two pronged case for “yes”:
1. skydiving is generally very safe with a fatality rate of less than 1 in 100,000. The fact that D.B. Jumped into bad conditions doesn’t mean he probably died
2. If a missing persons report for him was filed, then surely a clear candidate that went missing around the time of the jump would have been identified by now. I think the odds that he died and a missing persons report wasn’t filed are pretty low
@JaundicedBaboon yes but most sky diving isn’t done at night, and they are familiar with where they are jumping over? Db cooper wouldn’t have known where he was jumping over and it was dark and hard to see
He could have gone into a lake
Good point. But how would he have got home? Why was money never spent?
