Resolution criteria

This market will resolve to YES if the horse Ka Ying Rising officially wins the 2026 running of The Everest horse race. If any other horse wins the race, this market will resolve to NO.

The race is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia.

• Source of Truth: Resolution will be determined by the official race results published by Racing NSW or the Australian Turf Club.

• Participation: If the race is run but Ka Ying Rising does not compete (e.g., due to being scratched, injured, or failing to qualify), this market will resolve to N/A

• Race Cancellation: If the 2026 edition of The Everest is completely cancelled and not run before December 31, 2026, the market will resolve to N/A.

• Disqualifications: Post-race changes or disqualifications made after the official presentation and final placings are declared on race day will not affect the resolution.

Background

Ka Ying Rising is a New Zealand-bred, Hong Kong-trained champion sprinter who won the 2025 edition of The Everest. He is widely regarded as the top-rated sprinter in the world, establishing a historic 21-race winning streak in Hong Kong after shattering his own Sha Tin 1200m track record in the G3 Chief Executive's Cup on September 6, 2026. Trained by David Hayes and regularly ridden by jockey Zac Purton, Ka Ying Rising enters quarantine in September to prepare for his travel to Sydney to defend his crown in the AU$20 million Group 1 feature.
