Resolution criteria

This market resolves to YES if an official nominee of the Florida Democratic Party wins at least one partisan statewide election held in Florida during the 2026 calendar year (including the November 3, 2026 general election or any 2026 special election for a statewide post). Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.

Qualifying statewide offices include:

• Governor / Lieutenant Governor

• Attorney General

• Chief Financial Officer

• Commissioner of Agriculture

• Any U.S. Senate seat contested in Florida in 2026

Nonpartisan retention elections (such as Florida Supreme Court justices) and ballot measures do not count toward this market.

Resolution will be determined using the certified election results published by the Florida Department of State Division of Elections. If results are contested or subject to a recount, the market will wait for official state certification or final non-appealable judicial resolution.
