Ok, I'm just figuring out how leagues work, and these seem kinda fun. Looks like while I was inactive I was stuck in silver for 4 months. Now that I'm back I've earned 4.8 times as much as the rest of my league put together, and am being promoted to platinum. I'm guessing the competition will get a little tougher next month.

@IsaacKing it happens, i’m sure you’ve had worse. ;) but was not commenting on your performance, rather on the 5% freebie from @Mira in this market.
Wouldn't it be literally impossible for you to hit Diamond by November? If you're gonna be spending the month of October in Bronze league, the highest league you could promote to would be Gold. Then you'd need at least another month to hit Platinum. If everything goes right, the soonest you could hit Diamond would be January:
October: Bronze
November: Gold
December: Platinum
January: Diamond
I'm ok to wait until November for this market to resolve, but I feel like resolving it now would be the best move and you could make another market for hitting Gold in November.
@dittopoop It seems unlikely now, yeah. I was set to hit platinum this month, but some last-minute shenanigans made that not happen.
@ElmerFudd The threshold is relative to other members, right? The top 5 people in each league get promoted, regardless of their absolute profit?
