I could use the API to create a search function that's actually useful and works properly in <1 week, hosted on my website.

I have done this! Here's the new search page: https://outsidetheasylum.blog/manifold-search/
It's pretty bare-bones right now as I didn't know exactly what people would want, so just let me know what you'd like me to add.
I'm making it available free of charge, but if anyone would like to managram me for it, I certainly won't say no. This market will resolve based on whether I receive at least M$15,000 within a month from today.
If you find it useful, I'd appreciate you letting me know over at /IsaacKing/will-at-least-10-people-report-havi
@Odoacre Having to integrate it with the Manifold codebase would take me much longer than building it standalone, and given how many times they've changed their built-in search function and how terrible it still is, I have no confidence that they'd actually approve my changes anyway.
It would return the results people expect? Right now you can search for a word and get back markets that have nothing to do with that word. Would let you filter by name, description, creation date, close date, etc.
Would probably take me 5-20 hours to build, and I don't value my time that highly, so maybe 10-30k.
Manalink? Doesn't really matter.
