This market is about what he started to say before correcting himself. Some say it was "Haitian niggers", some say it was "Haitian immigrants". This market resolves once I'm reasonably convinced of the right answer. I think the most useful piece of evidence would be if someone could find a previous clip of him saying "Haitian immigrants", so I can hear how he normally pronounces it.
I could also be convinced in other ways, such as evidence that Rich does or does not frequently use the term privately, or the logic of the correction. I find it weird to correct oneself from "immigrants" to "migrants" since they're synonyms, but some claim that "migrants" has a more negative connotation on the political right, and that could have been why he wanted to use the latter.
Update 2026-01-11 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The creator has stated they find it implausible that Rich Lowry would naturally pronounce "immigrant" as "imergrant" (which would be necessary to explain the audio as him saying "Haitian immigrants"), given his lack of accent. This reasoning is being used to support a YES resolution.

From what I've heard, he claims he was trying to say migrants both times, not correcting himself. He claims that he accidentally said migrants with the "short i" the first time (the i in "ring") and corrected himself with the correct pronunciation.
So finding old videos won't help, since he just misspoke. You'll have to find some sort of video analyzing whether he formed an "n" or "m" or something like that, I guess.
