The team has announced Sepp Kuss as part of the Vuelta squad:

@JCE I saw this today too. Who is their source? :)
At this point it almost seems to be certain. Just need to see him arrive at the Team Presentation and cross the start line on the 26th!
Kiss officially on the start list as of today. Also, great lineup: https://velo.outsideonline.com/road/road-racing/vuelta-a-espana/is-this-the-best-start-list-ever-for-the-vuelta-a-espana-it-sure-looks-like-it/
Seems like Vuelta might at least be as good as Giro this year, if not better.
Out there doing a 185km, 3900m elevation gain training ride on a casual Saturday.....

Must mean something....
The final grand tour of the year will be the Vuelta a España, and Kuss said both Vingegaard and Roglic will race for the team.
Kuss, however, is unsure if he’ll also race in the Vuelta, which starts in five weeks.
“If I feel good, I would love to do it,” Kuss said. “If I don’t, it’s probably better not to suffer for three weeks.”
@NicoDelon I think it's just referring to Jumbo. "With the Tour de France victory, Jumbo-Visma has now won the first two Grand Tours this year. Before the Tour, Kuss helped Primoz Roglic win the Giro d’ Italia’s general classification" is what precedes it.
@NicoDelon Oh got it, sorry. I really have no idea. I could make arguments either way. If 2022 TdF was genuinely co-led, then maybe they do the same and see who emerges. It's not at all inconceivable that they can go 1-2. I think a lot depends on what tactics they'll need to use against Remco.
Another spot locked up, Van Baarle https://www.wielerflits.nl/nieuws/dylan-van-baarle-doet-mee-aan-vuelta-a-espana/
@Peilbeo you're pretty set against him riding? :) This is a much more exciting question than I anticipated when I created it the 2nd week of the Tour.
"And heck, he’s likely going to ride the Vuelta a España, too."
@JCE I wouldn't put much stock in that line tbh, but he did mention it himself in an interview on Sunday.

Interviewer: 'Is this a get out of jail free card for the Vuelta?'
Kuss: [laughs] 'I don't know, I mean I have to see how I feel, but uhh no I'd like to, I'd like to do it cause it's what I like most in cycling, is the grand tours. But you have to feel 100% to be able to enjoy it. Otherwise it's three weeks of suffering.'
@Peilbeo Yea I agree on that quote. I'm still hopeful. https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/jonas-vingegaard-to-ride-vuelta-a-espana-as-jumbo-visma-target-grand-tour-grand-slam/ "Super domestique Sepp Kuss is also expected to ride the Vuelta if he recovers from his stage 20 crash and the fatigue of riding the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France."
Vingegaard and Roglic confirmed. Gesink and Foss almost definite in my opinion. Kelderman and Bouwman also on the long list. If he's fit it's hard to see Tratnik being left out. Then you're probably looking at an Affini type for the TTT and controlling breakaways.
And if one of those don't make the team for whatever reason, Valter would be a valuable domestique. Dennis, Vader, Leemreize all with an outside chance too.
I wonder if this happened because of Sepp's Crash! Vingegaard wasn't even on the long list:
Maybe no Sepp to the Vuelta now.
(I'm still not moving my Mana to NO yet)
