@Hyperpolitan But surely the spirit of the market was that it was meant to refer to venomous snakes, which are colloquially referred to as "poisonous", even if they don't fit the technical definition.

@JosephNoonan in some regions venomous snakes are food. They chop its head off, and then there is no venom risk.
