Resolution criteria:

YES if the selected settlement source estimates total U.S. participation in May 1, 2026 No Kings general strike actions at at least 4,000,000 participants.

NO if the selected settlement source estimates below 4,000,000 participants.

Settlement source hierarchy:

1. If AP, Reuters, or The New York Times publishes a national numeric estimate by May 3, 2026 11:59 PM ET, use the latest estimate from the highest-priority source in this order: AP, Reuters, NYT.

2. Otherwise, if Washington Post, CNN, or NBC News publishes a national numeric estimate by the same deadline, use the latest estimate from the highest-priority source in this order: Washington Post, CNN, NBC News.

3. If no qualifying national numeric estimate is published by any of the above sources by the deadline, resolve CANCEL.

Notes:

• Count only U.S. participation estimates tied specifically to May 1, 2026 No Kings general strike actions.

• Do not manually aggregate local city counts.

• Organizer statements alone do not count unless a qualifying source adopts them as its own numeric estimate.
