When the polls close on May 2nd in the local elections, how many days after that will Rishi Sunak remain as Prime Minister? This question will resolve when it becomes clear that he either intends to resign as Prime Minister, loses a vote of no confidence or is defeated at the general election.

Rishi Sunak will formally resign as Prime Minister today (63 days later)

The general election has been called for July 4th 2024, if the Prime Minister is re-elected then he will be able to remain in post for a minimum of 420 days after those local elections before the question mark of a no confidence vote can be raised, if he is defeated then he will resign the following day, 65 days after the local elections
