This market will resolve YES if:

• A living mouse is successfully transported to and arrives on the lunar surface at any point during the calendar year 2030

• The mouse's presence on the moon is verified by a credible space agency or through independently verifiable evidence

This market will resolve NO if:

• No mouse reaches the lunar surface during 2030

• A mouse is launched toward the moon but fails to reach the surface

• The only mice that reach the moon in 2030 are already deceased

Considerations

• While mice are commonly used in space research, sending them to the moon would require significant life support systems and present new technical challenges beyond current ISS-based experiments

• The timeline to 2030 is relatively short for developing and testing the necessary life support systems for lunar mouse missions

• Any private space companies or research institutions could theoretically attempt such a mission, though none have announced plans to do so
