I ran into him in a fever dream recently and while trying to act a hawk, his eyes and demeanor admitted to being quite shook by this banking bullshit going on. Given the steep recent rate of increase in rates, I can foresee a strategic pause at just this point. Jerome will cut the baby in half by saying 50bps on the table next time once the threat of baking contagion passes.
