Elon Musk tweeted that "If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned at my companies. That is an unacceptable security violation." Will he follow through on this threat?

This will resolve YES if reliable reporting states that at least one company owned/run by Elon Musk (eg. Tesla, X, SpaceX) has banned use of Apple devices by employees, interpreted broadly. This will resolve NO if this has not occurred before 2026.
A company can still count as Musk if he leaves them before the ban occurs. This does not have any conditionality on Apple integrating with OpenAI.
@Bayesian Musk certainly thinks that the current changes count (people tried to tell him otherwise and he wasn't convinced). I'm personally unsure - it depends on what counts as "at the OS level". I'm not worried about a security risk, since the OpenAI integration seems to only activate after specifically asking the user, but it is at the OS level in the sense that it's not just an app. Of course, Google also has an integration like this, with the default search on Safari and other areas of the OS, and no one complains about that 'security risk'.
All of that to say, I'm not sure how I'd operationalize a market like that.
