Hi thanks for your comments. You're right, I realize now that this should have been a clearer yes/no question without a specific end date. I'm still learning the nuances of framing questions on Manifold.

My initial question stemmed from learning about the appalling conditions circus animals endure here in Cape Town. I was essentially asking: In a society increasingly aware of animal welfare, is there still a genuine need for live animal circus acts in 2025?

I'm also concerned that as entertainment demands become more extreme, the pressure on these animals will only intensify, leading to even more exploitative performances.

I'd appreciate your suggestions on how to rephrase this question for Manifold and is it okay to ask for assistance in rewriting it?
