NO

From Alex Hormozi.

When GPT 4 releases, I will try to verify this claim. If GPT 4 is not made available to civilians, I'll figure something out I guess.

No, it can not. GPT-4 has a maximum length of 32,768 tokens. (25,000 words). Therefore it is impossible (unless context length increases) for it to write a 60k word book.

However, you said you would test when it releases, which already happened, and it can't do this, so this should resolve NO.

It could out-write 99% of published authors today.

Try any poetry prompt and 50 lines of perfect rhyme, clever plot, lines begin with specific letters, etc is trivial.

(Write a few chapter summaries then expand them, and resummarize and continue, easy)

Will probably need some clarification on your definition of a book. Would any response of 60’000 words count? Or do you have some standard for plots/consistency?

@Cytokine It needs to be as good at writing 60,000 word books as Davinci-003 is at writing 300 word essays.

@GG Still seems a very subjective bar to cross, any way of making the resolution more subjective?

Ie. writes a 60’000 word long text string that >50% of people believe is written by a human rather then AI?
