It's been announced that Season 27 will have 10 episodes. Will all 10 air? Resolves Yes if the show is cancelled or fewer than 10 episodes air for the season.
Cancellation for any reason counts. Announced cancellations that take effect after the end of the season (and therefore all 10 episodes air) are not included. Change of venue (TV station, streaming service, etc.) is not relevant.

@EvanDaniel wait this doesnt seem in the spirit of the market, didnt they already agree to 5 before?
@strutheo https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/south-park-season-28-five-episodes-1236404334/
Season 27 was never meant to be a full 10 episodes, and the showrunners had planned all along for Seasons 27 and 28 to bow at five episodes
@EvanDaniel This resolution is sketch as fuck. There was a ten episode deal and all ten episodes are airing. South Park was not canceled! The technicality that they are calling the later 5 episodes "season 28" does not warrant this resolution especially since it turns out the "ten episode season 27" was not actually officially announced.
@strutheo At the time of question writing, as best I can tell, it was supposed to be 10 episodes:
On July 21, 2025, it was announced that Trey Parker and Matt Stone had agreed to a new five-year deal with Paramount+ to have their service host all streaming of the show, and for the season to consist of 10 episodes.[3][4]
And the question text was written in accordance with that:
Resolves Yes if the show is cancelled or fewer than 10 episodes air for the season.
It wasn't clear exactly what the schedule was, so I wrote it based on "the season" instead of a "10 episodes by a particular date" form.
As best I can tell, this change of season number was a surprise to everyone; certainly no one here pointed out the possibility. South Park has never released two seasons in the same year before.
@strutheo you clearly agree that the season ended with only 5 episodes, I'm not sure how you justify complaining here.

I'm also surprised that people are complaining about the resolution here but not on this market:
/EvanDaniel/will-trump-appear-in-every-south-pa
@strutheo It ended without airing all the episodes, which was the intent of the question. That was to avoid things like "oh we didn't cancel it because Trump demanded it we're just totally coincidentally not airing more episodes".
@strutheo I'm not sure when they changed it, I haven't tried to track down the announcement. I was surprised when the other Season 27 markets closed and someone suggested I close my S27 Trump appearances market, so I checked to confirm that S27 was over and resolved my markets on the basis of the season being over, with only 5 episodes, and Trump in all of them.
