If it has the above but has a hidden bird its still a yes. The x has to be bigger and more prominent than the brid. Either way it can't be blue and has to be significantly black like the website icon

@jcb for the record, I have no problem with the market runner arbitrarily waiting for staged rollout to hit their device in particular as long as they don't deliberately avoid updating things on their device. "Twitter/Google Play has failed to completely rollout the change, somehow, and my own device is proof" would be a valid reason to resolve "NO", and I might question the veracity of the assertion but I don't doubt that it can happen.
@JubileeYoung interesting. I'm on the latest pixel, all updates applied, and my icon is still the old one. Hopefully it'll update soon and this will resolve easily. I can force reinstall before end of month to test, too.
