The default number of images produced by one "/imagine" command in Midjourney increases to more than 4 by end 2024

it's currently 4. If the default version of this command for new users who pay switches to output more than 4 images (for example, 6 or 9), then this resolves YES.

I put this at 50%. MJ needs to compete with OAI as the default, so it makes sense for MJ to give users more control and more images. But, more images cost more to serve and the models are going to get larger since we have not saturated what is possible. And, OAI went from 2 images to 1 image, so 4 is still a power-user tool.
