How many years in prison will he get?
This is about the exact amount of time he is sentenced to, regardless of time served. i.e. if she gets "5 months which means no additional time since he's already served some time." the result will treated as 5 months
It's unclear how to judge this. Unfortunately from reading about this, it seems standard that judges would say "time served" when really meaning "you are done and can be released" and there's not really any time they clarify how much of the time in custody (if any, even including 10 minutes being arrested etc.) was counted as the "actual" penalty once found guilty.
So, if he were in jail for a few days before being bailed out, that would argue the answer should be 1 day-1 year - is that the view here? @traders
