Resolves YES if Minnesota state flag design F1953 (nicknamed "Polaris Tricolor", pictured below) is adopted without modification as the next flag of Minnesota.

Resolves NO if a modified version of the flag design is adopted, or if a different flag design altogether is adopted, or if the current Minnesota flag remains in place through the end of 2025.

@EricNeyman This market can resolve NO, unless you're still waiting for something?

Can this market resolve or are we waiting on something?

predicts NO

Since this market is flagged (hehe) with "CGP Grey", thought I'd share this article that references a particular "YouTuber" that is pretty obvious who it is:

A YouTuber amassed more than a million views last week for his opinion of F1953, which he called "awesome" and unique "not just among state flags, but world flags." He did take issue with the commission tweaking the design, though.

Just tickles me thinking about this and also not saying who this mysterious "YouTuber" was.

@EricNeyman Looks like this resolves as "NO": https://apnews.com/article/minnesota-state-flag-native-americans-bf20ba7d36b5f0929fb2ef87d2a36d65

(as much as I personally was hoping it would be the tricolor flag...)

EDIT: Adding the picture from the article

@VictorsOtherVector Cool, I will likely delay resolution until April 1, when the flag is adopted, in case they change their mind for whatever reason. But I'm open to being persuaded to resolving it now.

@EricNeyman That seems fair especially since the state Legislature can reject the design before it automatically becomes official.

A lot can happen in four months 😜
