5 in AP Calculus AB or equivalent is a minimum requirement, not a sufficient one.
@EnopoletusHarding the question title was about calculus but now the description is about AB AP ABCDEFG which are just a jumble of letters. Can you rewrite it to clarify what you actually mean instead of using nonsense jargon words.
@Eliza AP Calculus AB refers to the standardized test (widely used in the US):
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AP_Calculus
The grades one can get are from 1 to 5; 5 is the best and 1 is the worst. One can pretty easily get a 5 despite not knowing much calculus.
@EnopoletusHarding What if someone knows something about calculus but did not take this test. How do they vote in your poll?
@EnopoletusHarding How do we figure out the equivalent if we didn't take the exam? I feel like there could be a more straightforward way to ask this question that does not require everyone to go to high school.
@Eliza You can scroll through some of the sample questions here:

@EnopoletusHarding I feel like this is very misleading. The title is about whether someone knows calculus but the actual question is about taking an exam. Can you update the title?
@Eliza It is not about taking an exam; thus "or equivalent". One's abilities can also be higher than necessary for getting a 5 on AP Calculus AB without having taken it.
@EnopoletusHarding How does someone who never took the exam know the equivalence without taking the exam you linked? This is incredibly confusing and even with several responses I do not know how to answer your question.
Here are the facts, maybe you can help:
I never took this exam
I did look at the exam you linked
Is the question about 'doing calculus' or about 'taking this exam'?
@EnopoletusHarding I feel like it's possible someone could do calculus without taking an exam. Maybe just take the exam part off?
