This market resolves YES if Jon Ossoff becomes a declared candidate for president of the united states in the 2028 election. He counts as a declared candidate if he does any of the following before the close date:
Publicly announces a campaign for the presidency, or an exploratory committee that is followed by a campaign.
Files a statement of candidacy with the FEC for president.
Is formally placed in nomination at a major-party convention or appears on a state’s presidential ballot.
The market resolves NO if none of these happen by the close date. Speculation, draft-Ossoff efforts, polling, or statements of openness do not count. A denial such as his “zero interest” statements does not resolve the market by itself. Withdrawing after declaring still counts as YES.
