This market will resolve based on when the Nintendo Switch 2 (or whatever Nintendo names their next primary gaming console) becomes available for purchase on Nintendo's official website in any region. The market will resolve to the quarter/year when the console first becomes available.
If Nintendo releases a different console that is not positioned as the successor to the Switch (e.g., a "Switch Pro" or variant of the current Switch), the market will remain open until the true next-generation console is released.
If Nintendo announces that they are skipping a Switch 2 and moving directly to a different type of console, that console's release date will be used for resolution
@ElliottBenson the market description states that resolution will be when it’s available for purchase, but the title says released — what if it’s first available for pre-order?
Will this resolve when it’s actually released and in the hands of consumers?
