Here's January's edition, let's hope it's more interesting?
He missed a day! Thanks for playing.
Be sure to check out daily matches, kachi-koshi, and overall winner markets!

For anyone who is still interested in November, I think this kachi-koshi market should be really fun! Bet Yes if you think they will get 8, bet No if not:

I can add more names if you write in the comments there.
@Eliza Agreed. His coach is saying he'll return in January, let's hope he'll be able to. https://mainichi.jp/english/articles/20231109/p2g/00m/0sp/036000c

Here is the market for the Yusho for November.
I hope to run some amount of daily head-to-head match markets, probably using the new unlinked multiple choice format.
I need to decide if these will close at the start of Makuuchi division, or after the matches are over. The markets I ran for September tended to have zero bets other than my own, until after matches were complete. This is not great for prediction and I think I will plan to close the matches before Makuuchi begins, unless markets start getting real prediction traffic.
Chris Sumo's latest vid says he's "undergone treatment with what's presumed to be a chipped hip bone", so that on top of the existing lumbar spine and diabetes issues is making this rather unlikely...
@JordanHicks Thanks for the update!
Do you think he is just using it as an excuse to skip October activities, or a real threat to his November participation?
@Eliza Well, he has been doing the Yokozuna ring entering ceremony at recent events (3 days in a row, no apparent issues doing the foot stomps), but he hasn't been competing at them, so maybe he's keeping up appearances to try and avoid a retirement warning from the YDC for November, then hopefully come back strong in the new year basho.
