Will cycling on Max with B/R Sports cut away for advertisements?

Will there be mid-stage advertisements during live racing? (When paying for a plan that is 'Ad-Free')

Example: cut away from the picture of racing to show full screen advertisements. Resolves yes.

Example: worldwide commentary feed does an ad read for a product or a graphic that shows up on screen but the race is still visible the whole time. Not enough to resolve yes.

Example: commentator says "we are going for an ad break except the people online" -- if Max shows the ad, resolves Yes. If Max does not show the ad, resolves No.

If there are platform-inserted advertisements at the very start of a stream, that's not enough for a yes. If they randomly happen over the top of the race, unprompted, that is a yes, if it is with a subscription plan advertised as ad free.

I will resolve this when there is a consensus, probably based on early races. If someone wants to know if they will show ads during the Giro, that's a separate question!

If they do it just one time and it might be an accident, not enough for a yes. If they do it in two separate races, yes.

Bad news everyone, I tried this service for the Giro and bought the Ad-Free plan. But it showed me an ad for Wahoo before I could watch the stage.

Do not recommend. Get a friend who lives in Europe to pay for your Eurosport instead.

I don't know the answer but I will try to research it.

Note that the highlighted bit below says "Live content contains ads"

This question would only be concerning the Ad-Free and Unlimited Ad-Free plans, if those are still the plans available as of the start of the racing season.

The press release does not mention "ad free" at all while GCN+ reminded us constantly.
