oops i didn't vote correctly based on the description. i never lost everything, but i sometimes lost some things that were irrecoverable and that i didn't want to lose and that i should have backed up

@Bayesian It's okay to vote yes or no or whatever -- the tone is supposed to be that a great collection of data was lost rather than a one-off mistake. But if the one-off mistake was great enough, that could still be a Yes.

(Almost all my polls are really supposed to involve voting on vibes not on specifics, don't overthink it.)

I have a suspicion the audience will not be representative of the general public but still fun to see.
