I'm going to be doing some travelling that is significantly more important to me than Manifold, so I'm experimenting with a new market style. I will use this new style at least through the comic for July 5th. MODERATORS SHOULD FEEL FREE TO RESOLVE ANY QUESTIONS. I AM UNLIKELY TO RESOLVE UNTIL AFTER I RETURN FROM MY TRAVELS.

I will resolve any answers to these questions as soon as I have time to resolve and the result has become clear. If an answer is potentially ambiguous, I will wait to see thoughts posted on explain xkcd, and will either resolve or conclude N/A by the next regular post day based on the possible consensus there.

Others are free to add options. I will delete duplicates and ask regarding resolution criteria for potentially vague options, or questions that I am not sure how to resolve. If you believe that there is potentially a vague option, feel free to comment so we can address the issue as early as possible.

I may bet in this market.

@mods OP requests mod resolution in the description as they're travelling.

Resolutions:

There will be at least one comic with no stick figures at all

YES, July 3. https://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/2954:_Bracket_Symbols

(This might also count as a "chart", I'm not sure.)

All letters in every comic will be uppercase

YES

There will be at least one space-related comic

Pretty sure this is YES, July 1 (assuming aliens count as space-related.) https://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/2953:_Alien_Theories

July 5 might also count, since it shows Earth from space. https://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/2955:_Pole_Vault

The comics will have >=5 panels collectively

YES, 1+1+4=6.

Megan will make an appearance

NO (only Cueball appears.)

There will be at least one comic containing the letter 'w' in its title

NO: they're titled Alien Theories, Bracket Symbols, and Pole Vault.

White Hat will make an appearance

NO (only Cueball appears.)

Cueball will make >=3 appearances

NO; he appears in only two comics. (Per previous markets, if multiple "Cueball" characters had appeared, those would have been counted, but the same character in multiple panels doesn't count as seperate appearances.)

There will be a color other than black or white used

NO.

Resolved most of these; I left "space" and "chart" unresolved.

Personally I think it's space yes, chart no. However, I'd like to get a second opinion.

Aliens are space(ish)-related.

The brackets comic is a table or something, not a chart. Charts are line graphs, scatter plots, pie charts, bar graphs, and so on. The brackets are not trying to be some sort of structured presentation of data or anything like that.

@EvanDaniel @MugaSofer thanks for all your help, I’m currently in the process of moving, xkcd markets should be back and going by Wednesday
