This market resolves to YES if Santiago Abascal is officially appointed as the Prime Minister of Spain (Presidente del Gobierno) at any time before January 1, 2027, 00:00 UTC. Otherwise, this market resolves to NO.

The official publication of the royal decree of appointment in the Official State Gazette (Boletín Oficial del Estado - BOE) or official announcements from La Moncloa will serve as the primary source of truth.

Background

Santiago Abascal is a Spanish politician who has served as the leader of the right-wing party Vox since 2014. In Spain, the Prime Minister (Presidente del Gobierno) is chosen following an investiture vote in the Congress of Deputies and formally appointed by King Felipe VI.
