Attendees are 30-35 yo males with college degrees.
I will have people fill out an anonymous survey and will follow up over text if I am missing responses from any members. Resolves YES if over 50% report positively about the activity. Resolves NO if less than 50% report positively about the activity.
Some attendees intend to try to do these activities based on my discussion with them, but will resolve NO if no one ends up doing the activity.
Update 2025-06-02 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): The 50% threshold for an activity to be considered positively reported (i.e., 'report positively about the activity') will be calculated based on the participants of that specific activity, not all attendees of the bachelor party.

Is the sentiment towards an activity measured from the participants in the activity, or of all attendees?
Presumably for example not everyone will be doing psychedelics. Some people may choose not to participate in that activity. Those not participating seem more likely to not have a particularly favourable view of the activity, whereas those who are participating may view it more positively.
@MarySmith the problem is it being formal debate, that means a bunch of complicated procedural rules that suck the fun out of conversation in my experience
1) Anonymous survey
2) Follow up text if missing responses
3) If > 50% survey takers report positively about the activity, YES
4) If < 50% report positively about the activity, NO
5) For any activity, if no attendee does it, NO
It seems like you're getting at the potential reversal, discrepancy between 3) and 5).
What if a slim majority says it's great, and then no one does it day of?
