Resolution Criteria

This market resolves YES if Kanye West makes a public statement, post, interview, or other communication that contains antisemitic content before June 1, 2026. Resolution will be based on reports from established news outlets (e.g., ADL, AJC, major media) documenting such statements. The statement must be antisemitic in nature—including but not limited to antisemitic tropes, conspiracy theories, slurs, or threats targeting Jewish people.

Background

Beginning on February 7, 2025, Ye began a long tirade on X that included antisemitic and pro-Nazi statements, such as "I am a Nazi," "Hitler was sooooo fresh," "I don't like or trust any Jewish person," and "[antisemitism is] just some bullshit Jewish people made up to protect their bullshit." During the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, an ad by Ye aired in the local Los Angeles media market for his fashion line Yeezy, with the only item available for purchase being a white T-shirt emblazoned with a black swastika selling for $20. As of May 2025, West has stated that he is "done with antisemitism". However, a spokesperson for the ADL stated "We've seen this kind of attempted apology from Kanye before, only for him to back down over and over again." On November 6, 2025, West met with the Israeli-Moroccan Orthodox rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto to apologize and take accountability for his antisemitic statements.

Considerations

With a social media following of more than 31 million, his statements have become more acute, more delusional, and more dangerous. Given West's pattern of repeated antisemitic statements followed by brief apologies and subsequent relapses, traders should consider the likelihood of recurrence despite recent public statements of contrition.
