I am running an auction. To the winner, I will send a manalink for Ṁ1000. This market resolves based on the value of the winning bid. The rules are as follows:

This market is one in a series of different types of auctions. This auction will be structured as a Dutch auction. The auction will take place over a week. I will start it by stating the starting price for the Ṁ1000. That starting price will be Ṁ1500. On every day from 10am-8pm cst, every hour the price will go down by Ṁ10, this continues until someone takes the offer. I will try and update the price every hour, but that is quite hard so I will show the time it was updated so you can easily calculate the current price. I know most likely someone will just immediately take it after it goes below Ṁ1000, but I was still curious what would happen.

After you are will to accept the price for the Ṁ1000, all you have to do to take the offer is comment “I’m placing a bid.” In the case someone misspells I will still accept it as long as it is recognizable. Once someone has accepted the offer I will give them a 10 minute period to send a manalink of the price to my Discord (DesTiny#9607). If they do not do it in that time period they will be ignored, and the auction will continue.

When someone successfully sends me the amount to claim the Ṁ1000 auction I will post the amount to solidify it, and close the auction. Any questions or suggestions for this auction are welcome

Thanks to @yaboi69 for coming to me with the idea for these markets!

Current price: Ṁ950 (updated at 3pm)

I’m placing a bid.

@A I'm surprised it got as low as it did, I guess people weren't really paying much attention

A numeric market about the amount of bids could work here

sold Ṁ3 of NO

@Simon1551 (By design the auction should be over as soon as the first valid bid is placed; if the question was worded like that, it would work, but in a way that disrupts the process: people would be encouraged to spam fake offers.)

@yaboi69 To be fair there are two markets so I was thinking about the result to both of them but of course there could be one for each

sold Ṁ23 of NO

Insurance market just in case:
