@aps I see On 13/06/2023, 22:51, a tornado was reported in Dallam COUNTY, TX: Broadcast media reported tornado looking west from TX Highway 807 south of Kerrick looking west-northwest. Photo of tornado sent to social media. (AMA).

and this may be uk time. Claim seems to be using US EST?

Good catch on the timezones, yeah, seems like the website silently uses browser time zone without specifying (sigh).

There's an average of about 3-4 tornadoes a day just in the US in June! There will definitely be a tornado on any given day in June in the whole world, no?

predictedYES

@BenjaminShindel

Why not bet more Mr. Smart?

predictedYES

1) not confident in resolution criteria (there may not be news reports on every tornado and data may not be findable immediately after the date)

2) Because there’s small total capitalization in the market and buying too much would mean less profit… duh!

@BenjaminShindel Well it would still be more profit, it would just be less profit per mana invested.

This looks like a decent tracker for in the US: https://www.arcgis.com/apps/dashboards/3ca8efb6f5684fc88e9761f6a26e2b5d

In the US, in the past 7 days, 5 days have had reported tornado's. June on average has more tornado's than May.

I have not spent the time finding a tracker outside of the US.

@RobertCousineau Brain fart Correction: June on average has more tornado's than April.
