On December 12th Netflix published What We Watched: A Netflix Engagement Report for the first time, covering January through June 2023. This report provides total hours viewed for each title (movies and series) with at least 50,000 hours over a 6 months period. Netflix said they will publish this report twice a year, I expect the next report will be published in June 2024 covering July through December 2023. I will adjust resolution date based on the release of the report.
The total number of hours watched on Netflix from January through June 2023 - which includes only shows watched more than 50,000 hours and represents 99% of all titles - is approximately 93,455,200,000 hours.
