Will the new Dutch rationality discord have 100 members (rationalists in NL) before July 1?

NO
This question resolves to yes if the new Dutch rationality discord server reaches 100 members before July first. The server is the first discussion-focussed rationality platform for the Netherlands. Presumably there are enough interested people spread out over the country (population 17M that all speak English) but few participate in meetups or know about each other. If new members are obviously not located in NL or obviously not interested in rationality, then they will not be counted toward the 100 member milestone. Rationality NL: https://discord.gg/EvjhSs8sFP

So I've finished up advertising where ever i thought that might be useful. That whole campaign yielded around 5 new members instead of the dozens i had optimistically supposed. I wasn't trying to bet on my own market. I'm leaving it as is and will leave the resolution till July 1 cause 1) someone might want to buy out the remaining 10%, OR 2) miracles do happen and ~80 members might appear out of thin air. Who knows, right?
Ahum, was misclickimg on the interface. Ignore my bets.
We have 19 members right now if I'm reading discord's UI correctly. Reaching 100 in the next two and a bit weeks seems ambitious.
@Rutger true! I had thought people would join more easily. Eg. The Dutch LW fb group has 220 members but only one person joined after posting there.

@Dark I’m one of those 220 members! I’ll join the discord soon, waiting until the end of my vacation. Didn’t know about it until now since I don’t get notifications from Facebook anymore :)

@ozan that's awesome! \o/

@Dark I find it incredible so many of us use FB... Can't you see it is bad for the world? And can't you put your ... social networking where your mind is? Isn't that what rationalists are supposed to do?
@Jjmmm I agree but I couldn't find any way to connect to people as much. FB is the only long-form text social media. One of my main interests and channels is to chat to loads of new people online. It's something I find rewarding and meaningful, and FB has been the best channel so far to make that happen with people I find interesting. I'd support any move to a more ethical platform but I'm not willing to forego all these possible connections all together.
