Getting into Trump's limo, turning the 1-on-1 into a 3-on-3 with Lavrov and Rubio, and cancelling their lunch all strike me as weird.

@Chumchulum It does not give me the rise to the occasion that weirdness can. It is not weird for me.

It wasn’t the real Putin. Is anyone talking about this?

@Predictor evidence?

@Predictor my take is that it is indeed the real Putin, but he has had a lot of work done.

@Predictor Putin with the Botox is still the Putin. Little bitch man but still the man.

I think the stealth bomber is the strongest case for YES here

"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man."

Life is a constant stream of unique moments, each of which are by definition weird. An infinitude of weird things happened to Putin at this meeting, just as they do to everyone, everywhere, all the time.
This alone should be enough to resolve yes.

The stealth bomber thing just makes it a no-brainer.

@Robincvgr But a stealth bomber flying over Putin isn't something weird happening "to Putin". He wasn't really affected, more than he is affected by all the soldiers with guns who were there.

Also, It's not even that weird to see a military plane flying around, it happens all the time. Any specific plane flying above you is rare but that doesn't mean it's weird. Stealth bombers have even flown over football stadiums, which further shows that it's not weird.

@Pazzaz Would you care to estimate what percent of the global population has had a squadron of military aircraft fly over their head at low altitude in clear view?

I agree with your initial point that being surrounded by soldiers with guns is also an extremely weird experience. This is yet another reason to resolve yes.

@jessald

Would you care to estimate what percent of the global population has had a squadron of military aircraft fly over their head at low altitude in clear view?

My point is that question doesn't matter, because that's only about how rare an event is, not about how weird it is. One thing that "happened to Putin" was being called "Putin". Most people have not been called "Putin", but that doesn't mean it's weird for Putin to be called "Putin".

I agree with your initial point that being surrounded by soldiers with guns is also an extremely weird experience

I didn't say that.

TLDR: something being weird is a vibe, not a calculation

@jessald I would say maybe this should resolve 10% or something

@Pazzaz

From the description:

Normal meeting? Or Putin trips, arrested, hung, etc

The author clearly used the word weird to mean the opposite of normal. The word can be used in multiple ways and rare event is obviously the meaning here.

@realDonaldTrump

The market description establishes tripping as an examplar of a weird event. A stealth bomber flying over your head is way more rare than tripping. Maybe 10^10 people who have ever lived have tripped whereas maybe 10^1 have been mogged by a stealth bomber. Fair compensation would therefore be something like 1,000,000,000,000%.

@jessald ok... but we're not talking about any random dude, we're talking about a controversial leader. and many world leaders have had stealth bombers flown over their heads.

@realDonaldTrump Is that true? I have doubts. Also this wasn't a run of the mill stealth bomber but the one used on Furdow.

@jessald Agree that the stealth bomber thing is definitely weirder than tripping

@Robincvgr It is not weird to see such things.

Are Putin's special boots to look taller weird enough? :)

@klauwier This is all the bit normal for us to see!

Stealth bomber flying over your head is weird for anyone.

@jessald Agree

Is Putin riding in the US presidential limo something weird happening to Putin?

@Robincvgr would not want the job of sweeping the beast after him. And that's a fact.
