Resolved
NO

Measured using freely available grid energy data such as at

https://grid.iamkate.com/

Data will be considered from winter solstice 2022 to summer solstice 2023 ( when the market closes.)

This market considers only grid transfers or import/exports through transfer cables. It's partly going to be controlled by demand on the European mainland side

Physical Imports of gas, oil, coal, solarpanels ect do not count. Northern Ireland is part of the Irish grid and out of scope of this market.

@CromlynGames

Seems a clear no from the link provided:

Past Year

Demand

29.7GW

=

Generation

28.8GW

+

Transfers

0.9GW

but last 6 months are much more like past week

Demand

26.7GW

=

Generation

24.7GW

+

Transfers

2.0GW

See also graph bottom right.

Anyway think it can be resolved.

@ChristopherRandles yeah, I'm just waiting for some free time and a laptop to graph it to avoid any complaints.

I'll resolve now, add post later
