For the purposes of this market, a "serious music act" is one where music is the central focus (not an accompaniment for a dance or something), and where the song is not played for laughs. Deciding this is where the most ambiguity lies, but I'll do my best. Among last year's acts, Bohemian Rhapsody and Pirates of the Caribbean meet the criteria, 4'33", Chess, and the rap battles do not.
If more than 4/7 ≈ 57% of the acts at the 2022 Proof School Winter Show (counting a multi-part show, like last year, as one show) are serious music acts, this market resolves YES. If a lower percentage, NO. If an equal percentage, PROB 50%. If there's no Winter Show or if I'm not sure because of definition issues whether the percentage is bigger, N/A.
I acquired a copy of last year's program, and 16/28 were serious music acts. I support more variety in types of acts!
